2008 COMPETITIVE PLAYER

"POSITION CAMP"

What is a position camp and why?

This new innovation from DOC Bryn Lloyd is designed to teach our players what essential tools they need to play a specific position within the game.

While many positions overlap in their basic needs such as ball control, passing etc each position has it’s own ‘must have’ bible of required skills to perform within the team structure correctly. We will use video and field sessions to help our players understand their roles and responsibilities within the team. How do they interact with each other in their position and link with and other position units.

Positions to be covered include

Keeper

Defender

Midfield

Forward

Ages: U8-U17

Cost: $100.00

When: July21st-25th 2008

Times: 9am-Noon

 Where: Wesley Chapel District Park

WESLEY CHAPEL COWBOYS
ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Wesley Chapel Cowboys invite all golfers out to a special event on July 28th at Hunters Green Golf Club.  The two-man team scramble will kick-off at 9am.  The course will be shut down that morning just for our tournament.  There are only twenty golf carts being pulled out that morning, so we can take 40 players.  You can sign-up as an individual and be paired with another golfer, or sign-up as a team.

The two players will play best shot throughout the tournament.  Each teammate hitting a shot and the team choosing the best of both balls for their next shot.  We will have prizes and awards for the top three teams.  No handicaps will be recorded, this is straight up PGA type golfing.  And it is for fun and bragging rights!!

If you want to come out for a Monday morning of golf on a beautiful golf course, to register today CLICK HERE.
